Street Scaffolding Ltd is a family run business established in 1990, one of our Directors has been in the business since its conception and remains involved in the daily running of the business and also the erection of scaffolding on our more challenging projects.
We are skilled & adaptable!
We have worked for a wide range of clients over the last 26 years including most of the more recognisable national contractors on some the largest projects in the Brighton area.
We have recently completed a project for MTX Contracts Ltd at the Bristol Gate entrance to the Royal Sussex County Hospital as part of the multi-million pound refurbishment works along with another similar project for Standard Life, owners of Churchill Square Shopping Centre to enable the full refurbishment of the exterior brickwork.
Given our intimate local knowledge & expertise we were the chosen contractor for the scaffolding by national contractor Scott Osborn to enable the refurbishment of 38-42 East Street Brighton, this project was undertaken during the very busy summer months in an area of Brighton renowned for its challenging access & pedestrian traffic, we were able to provide an exemplary service to ensure the contractor completed the project on time & with minimum disruption to the occupants of the retail outlets and the public.
Other such projects in recent years have included the large Primark store in Western Road, New Look store, the Brighton Wheel refurbishment and eventual dismantle along with continuing specialist works to the Brighton Pier.
We have worked with the majority of the local building contractors including roofing & decorating companies providing access to some of Sussex’s most famous landmarks.
We have a good relationship with the local authorities having worked for all of them over many years.
We provide a direct & personal service which ensures our relationship with the general public on smaller projects is met with professionalism and efficiency.
Our reputation in Sussex speaks for itself as we continue to provide access solutions for a wide range of interesting and challenging projects across the South East corner.
Capability for all sized projects!
At Street Scaffolding Ltd we have a close partnership with PB Scaffold Designs who provide technical expertise when required on the more complicated scaffolds such as temporary roofs, suspended access platforms and high level works. Some of these recent projects include Lancing College, a fire damaged grade 2 listed manor house, The Brighton Wheel and the Sealife Centre. With our qualified scaffolders and PB’s expert design technicians we can provide a safe reliable access solution for any purpose.
Our company also provides scaffolding for new build projects and can meet the ever more demanding criteria for working on these projects.
We are fully qualified!
With extensive experience our scaffolders are CISRS trained and hold up to date CSCS cards enabling them to work on most sites, however demanding they may be. We are also able to extend our expertise in industrial scaffolding and can provide a specialist company to install safety netting for all types of industrial buildings.
We have a small works team dedicated to providing small access scaffolding for private properties for small construction projects, decorating or chimney works. Also, being a local company means we know some of the difficulties in accessing the local properties.
